This may be the number one question we are asked when families begin to explore Â鶹´«Ã½ and it is the hardest one to answer.
At Â鶹´«Ã½, giftedness is about academic potential and giftedness looks different from Â鶹´«Ã½ student to Â鶹´«Ã½ student. Perhaps math is a student’s strength or they are solid across the board academically or they excel in language arts and shine in leadership roles. Regardless of how a student’s gifted abilities are presented, the learning environment at Â鶹´«Ã½ develops the whole gifted child.
We understand that the children who come to Â鶹´«Ã½ have minds that seek complexity, creativity that knows no bounds, and emotions that run deep. We know that their questions may come faster than answers, that their ideas often stretch beyond the ordinary, and that their need for connection and understanding is just as important as their academic growth.
We believe there is no one way to be gifted and each gifted child is unique — however there are some qualities that are common among Â鶹´«Ã½ students.
